Hermann Von Rieben, the namesake of this wine, was a German Baron and the original settler of Scotts Creek who built the Von Riebens Hotel located on our Scotts Creek property in 1855. This historic site is a link to our history and sits serenely adjacent the vineyards which continue to thrive producing this estate grown wine.

Tasting Notes

Deep red with purple edges. Black fruit aromas with oaky notes. It's full bodied and delivers the perfect harmony of dark berry flavours, smooth texture and balanced tannins.
