In 1838 Walter Thomson, with wife Jane, arrived in Australia and established a winemaking tradition. Faithful to his approach, our estate grown parcels are carefully tended by our vignerons to create wines of great intensity.

Tasting Notes

The aromatic profile is appealing, with notes of pineapple, floral accents, and a blend of tropical fruits. Delicate notes of jasmine, ripe melon, pineapple, and zesty lime create a vibrant and inviting palate. The refreshing acidity is seamlessly integrated with a rounded, elegant body, while the silky mouthfeel carries through to a long, graceful finish

Brightly fruited and aromatic, the wine shows green apple, capsicum, lemongrass, and white floral characters on the nose. The palate delivers excellent vibrancy and fruit intensity, well supported by fine texture and crisp acidity, offering excellent drinking. At its best: now to 2029. Written July 2025.
