Semillon, Chardonnay, and Riesling co-fermented. A good lift of dehydrated lime, lemon pith, lemon butter, jasmine and white nectarine lead the aromas. This is both rich and fresh, and quite attractive as a result. The palate follows suit in this sense, with a lovely burst of citrus, stone fruits and subtle honey gliding through the mouth with vibrancy and playfulness, before being coiled within bright stone fruit acidity to medium length. The name suggests something more garish than this. There’s good flavour, of course, but also freshness and verve, making for a balanced and delicious drink. Drink now–2025
