Tasting Notes

This 2021 vintage saw cooler than average temperatures with gradual fruit ripening that enabled an elevation of fruit flavour and aromas with beautifully balanced fruit bursting with varietal flavour.

Our Morgan vineyard has an ideal climate to grow and ripen Grenache and Shiraz for this Australian classic blend. The balanced warm days and cool nights gives fruit ultimate ripening conditions. The red sandy loam overlying ancient sheet limestone enables water to be drawn away from vines, so the grape bunches and berries are of perfect size and flavour.
