Hermann Von Rieben, the namesake of this wine, was a German Baron and the original settler of Scotts Creek who built the Von Riebens Hotel located on our Scotts Creek property in 1855. This historic site is a link to our history and sits serenely adjacent the vineyards which continue to thrive producing this estate grown wine.

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby red colour, this wine displays ripe and fragrant aromas of mulberry and strawberry, complemented by subtle hints of spiciness. The rich flavours of blueberry and blackcurrant are balanced by silky tannins, delivering a tasty and lingering finish.
