In 1838 Walter Thomson, with his wife Jane, arrived in Australia and established a winemaking tradition. Faithful to his approach, our estate grown parcels are carefully tended by our vignerons to create wines of great intensity.

Tasting Notes

A radiant garnet hue. The nose is greeted by fine spice and luscious red berry fruits, creating a captivating and aromatic experience. This Merlot offers fine tannins and a prolonged fruity essence, culminating in a clean and refreshing finish. It’s a truly outstanding wine, bursting with juiciness.
