Hermann Von Rieben, the namesake of this wine, was a German Baron and the original settler of Scotts Creek who built the Von Riebens Hotel located on our Scotts Creek property in 1855. This historic site is a link to our history and sits serenely adjacent the vineyards which continue to thrive producing this estate grown wine.

Tasting Notes

Bright rose petals and fresh strawberry mingle with subtle oak spice, adding warmth and complexity. Juicy dark cherry and strawberry flavours roll across the palate, lifted by gentle white pepper and a light biscuit like nuance. Finely tuned acidity and smooth, silky tannins bring balance and structure, finishing with elegance and length.
