Set in the northern range of the cool and picturesque Clare Valley, the high altitude provides finesse and delicate power to our mature vines. The Clare Valley is renowned for Riesling as a variety as the combination of high altitudes and continental climate with cool to cold nights and warm days creates a regional expression of balanced minerality and finesse.

Tasting Notes

Lush tropical aromas of pineapple and passionfruit are balanced by delicate citrus blossom and honeysuckle. Crisp and refreshing flavours of lemon-lime zest, grapefruit and quince take centre stage. A silky mouthfeel transitions into along, clean and mouth-watering finish, with lingering notes of quince and minerality.

An excellent year in the Clare Valley continues to provide us with an impressive array of fine Riesling. This has a very pale lemon colour, hardly visible, with a nose offering spices, lemons and citrus notes. Very aromatic, this is more forward in style than many, but has a soft palate with a flick of acidity. A wine of medium length for drinking any time over the next five years. 91.
