In 1838 Walter Thomson, with his wife Jane, arrived in Australia and established a winemaking tradition. Faithful to his approach, our estate grown parcels are carefully tended by our vignerons to create fine wines of great intensity.

Named after an ancient flood plain of the majestic River Murray in South Australia. Known for the greatest days of sunshine, the Riverland region has a pristine climate for premium grape growing on our limestone soils.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, A bright and inviting mix of rose petals and fresh strawberries, with a gentle hint of oak spice adding depth. The palate unfolds with luscious dark cherry and strawberry, layered with whispers of white pepper and delicate biscuit notes. Balanced acidity and velvety, integrated tannins provide structure, framing a medium, well weighted body with depth and elegance.
