In the 1850s Paddy Devlin ran a wine Tavern, peddling wine to weary cattlemen. On a clear night when sitting back, enjoying a glass of wine on the River Murray, Devlin’s Mount can still be seen on the cliff top.
Rich aromas of toasted mocha and dark fruits, complemented by layers of hickory, nutmeg and dark chocolate. The palate unfolds with layers of cinnamon and ripe berry fruits, gracefully complemented by cracked pepper and delicate aniseed. A perfect harmony of oak and fruit leads to a long, smoky hickory finish, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and depth.
