This Clare Valley fruit was carefully harvested in the early morning to retain delicate varietal expression. Once fermentation was complete the wine was transferred to French and American oak hogsheads to mature for two years.

Tasting Notes

Dark purple with red hues. Blackberry and blueberry bramble with spice and elegant oak. This medium bodied wine displays black cherry, raspberry and strawberry compote with medium tannins and soft acid providing length and balance to the wine. Expert Reviews

Beautifully fruited and inviting, the wine shows dark berry, mixed spice, roasted nut and vanilla aromas, followed by a rounded palate delivering plump mouthfeel together with fine-grained tannins, finishing long and silky. At its best: now to 2030.
