In the dark of night, miles from any soul, the bats awaken. Swooping over the marshy wetlands, past the old ruins. Flying slowly using the echolocation navigation for hunting prey, 100 Bats swarm and glean insects from the vineyard and reeds to feast for the night.

Tasting Notes

Plum and sun-ripened strawberry, wrapped in conserve-like richness, lead into hints of toast, nutmeg and dark chocolate. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, with layers of plum, blackcurrant and mulberry deepened by cocoa and smoky hickory. Balanced acidity and plush, chocolate laced tannins bring the wine to a lingering, satisfying finish.
