Spiced Glamper Shiraz Mulled Wine Recipe

Spiced Glamper Shiraz Mulled Wine with Apple:


  • 1 bottle of Byrne Vineyards Glamper Shiraz

  • 2 small oranges or 1 large, thinly sliced

  • 1 apple, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup brandy

  • 2-3 tablespoons honey or brown sugar to taste

  • 2 whole cinnamon sticks (and some more for garnish)

  • 6 whole cloves

  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, thinly sliced

  • Optional garnishes: Fresh rosemary sprigs, orange twists


  1. In a large pot or saucepan, combine the thinly sliced oranges, sliced apple, Glamper Shiraz, brandy, honey, cinnamon sticks, cloves and ginger.

  2. Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until it just begins to simmer. Avoid boiling.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mulled wine gently simmer for 15-20 minutes to infuse the flavours.

  4. Taste the mulled wine and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if needed.

  5. After simmering, remove the pot from the heat and strain the mulled wine to remove the spices, oranges, and apple slices.

  6. Serve the mulled wine warm in mugs or glasses.

  7. Garnish each serving with a cinnamon stick and an orange slice. Optionally, add a fresh rosemary sprig for an aromatic touch.
